Sumina and Perry are couple from NYC who are totally in love. She’s sweet and soft-spoken and he’s upfront and easy going and they just adore each other. They like to travel, are serious foodies and while they are from New York, they have family and friends from all over the world, so having a destination wedding in Hawaii was just right.
Having been to a ton of weddings, they really wanted their wedding to be easy going and comfortable and more like a nice get together rather than a formal wedding. Their wedding was casual, low key, simple and intimate with a beautiful oceanfront estate, soft watercolors, custom wood dining tables, ribbon runners, yellow and white flowers in a collection of vases, an extensive 4-course meal, sea urchins acting as seating cards, a nighttime ceremony, a tuberose and ribbon flowing archway and a gorgeous sunset. This is their wedding story…
“We decided to have a destination wedding, so picking a wedding planner was somewhat of a daunting task as you are basically putting a tremendous amount of trust in someone to be an extension of yourself when you can’t be there. I am so thankful that we met Jamie, she is trustworthy in all aspects of her planning and just as important, we could trust in her abilities as well. Jamie found a way to capture the essence of exactly what we were looking for, from floral arrangements, to venue, to the right dj, food, photographer…everything. Best of all, she worked hard to find us the best proposition of value every step of the way. I simply can’t say enough and just feel so blessed thinking back at how perfect our wedding was. I think that’s exactly what the perfect wedding planner does…she lets you remember the feeling from that one night in your life, not the “planning” of it. Thank you so much Jamie for making our wedding night the most perfect night of our lives.”
