Kat and Zack met through work and as they got to know each other they really hit it off. They are a team, both active and social. They love the outdoors and they travel a ton both professionally for work and personally, so they wanted their wedding to be outdoors in the mountains in a place that was welcoming, serene and special and where their guests could connect. And while it took them awhile to find the right place, when they settled on Yosemite, it was the perfect match.
Their wedding weekend was natural, simple, relaxed and effortless allowing their guests time and space to socialize and connect. The wedding began with a little hike to a secret spot hidden in the mountains where they had an intimate ceremony with bushels of local flowers and guests surrounding the couple as they shared their love and some of the best personal vows. After the ceremony, cocktail hour was held at the clubhouse where guests ate, drank and played corn hole on the lawn. Then guests headed down to dinner and as if they were walking into someone’s backyard, they were greeted with farm tables, mismatched chairs and china, string lights and local wildflowers in assorted colored vases. Tables were named with answers to trivia questions which made guests mingle to find all the answers as they enjoyed a family style farm to fork dinner. After dinner, guests danced and socialized into the wee hours with a surprise silent disco, dessert bar and late night pizza. This is their wedding story…
“We got married in a fairly remote location which wasn’t even built when we booked it. That meant it was the first wedding on the site, and absolutely everything had to be organized and set into motion. Luckily, Jamie is a master of organization, friendly and patient. She kept the motor running on all of the planning when we were distracted or busy, she sourced and managed all of our vendors (no easy feat), and any time we hit a bump in the road, Jamie was supportive, willing, and able to tackle the issues and tough conversations head-on so we didn’t have to stress. We were able to rest easy knowing we were able to trust the Mango Muse team with everything so comprehensively. By the time our wedding weekend arrived, my husband and I and our families truly had nothing to worry about except to have fun, take it all in, and celebrate. We would have been in way over our heads without the help of the Mango Muse team. The fact that she got us through the whole process was great; that she did it in such good graces and with such poise was truly impressive.”
