Amanda and Cody’s story is one of those love stories that you only really see in movies. They first met when they were just kids. Cody has been childhood friends with Amanda’s brother for years, and so naturally he’d come over to the house and they’d see each other. But nothing ever happened, until one fateful New Year’s Eve party. They reconnected, went on a date the next day, and as they say, the rest is history.
This wedding was really one big family reunion as the two families have known each other for years. It was extra special as it took place at the much-loved family’s private estate in Stanley, Idaho. The multi-day celebration highlighted the small town charm and beauty with a river float, local farm-to-table foods, house hats, personalized crosswords, local wildflowers, bright prints, succulents, a song by the mother of the groom, a mountain bike ride, a ceremony with the Sawtooth mountains as a backdrop, mismatched patterned napkins, and touching toasts.
