Mango Muse Events Celebrates 12 Years!

When you reflect back on a year you’re usually amazed at how far you’ve come. You look at all you’ve accomplished and all the things you’ve seen, done and experienced.

But when I reflect on the last year, it’s not about what we’ve done. It’s not about what we’ve accomplished.

It’s just that we survived.

COVID has affected every person and every business. In both different and similar ways.

For the wedding and events industry, it was a dark year. Even with adjustments and pivots, the industry was essentially shut down for the last year.

And as a result, so many businesses have closed. So many life altering decisions had to be made.

It’s been immensely sad to see just everything crumble.

Owning a business is always challenging, but this last year was something else entirely.

And I’m not going to lie, it’s been stressful, heartbreaking and worrisome.

But, I was fortunate.

Mango Muse Events survived and is celebrating 12 years this month. 12 years of planning destination weddings all across the world.

It’s hard to believe that we’ve made it this far, but I am so grateful to be here.

Grateful to still be able to do something I love and be a part of so many love stories.

So, we are celebrating!

Celebrating survival, vaccinations, reduced cases and reopening.

And celebrating 12 years of love.

Because if there is anything we’ve learned this past year, it’s how important love is.

Not just romantic love and the love you have for your partner. But the love for your family and friends. Love for your neighbors and community.

Love for those who are similar and love for those who are different.

Because love is what we need to survive, to thrive, and to create a better tomorrow.

And I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we’re ALL hopeful for a better tomorrow.

One where we can hug, sing, dance and love to our hearts content.

So thank you for all of your love and support throughout the past 12 years and especially this last year. And I look forward to hugging, singing and dancing with you soon!
