Best Wedding Dresses From Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2019
It’s a new season and with it comes new fashion and wedding dresses! As always it’s such a blast to check out the new designs. And as always I enjoy picking out my favorites and sharing the best wedding dresses with you!
This season, there were really three different groups of dresses that I loved. All a little different and all lots of fun. And great inspiration for your wedding dress. Let’s dive in and start shopping, shall we?
Color Me Happy Wedding Dresses
The first category of my picks for best wedding dresses from Bridal Fashion Week were the colored wedding dresses. White is classic, but a colored wedding dress? Color gives your dress and your wedding so much interest and punch.
First up are the colored Vera Wang dresses in different shades of gorgeousness.
Now, if a fully colored wedding dress is too much for you, consider an accent. Colored ribbons and bows add a fun touch to a white dress. And I’m loving these by Carolina Herrera.
If bows aren’t your thing, try a touch of color on the edge of your dress. Like this Hermione de Paula wedding dress.
Or this colorful embroidered wedding dress by Hermione de Paula. It has so much color, but it’s not overwhelming.
Show Some Leg Wedding Dresses
So, I’m not into the overly sexy dresses that look like you’re naked. But, every girl wants to feel sexy and one way to do that without going over the top is with a sexy leg slit. Now, leg slits are not new, but the dresses (and the legs) this season were out in full force. And they were part of my picks for the best wedding dresses from Bridal Fashion Week because they were sexy, but also tasteful and gorgeous.
Check out these three different, but sexy dresses by Inbal Dror. They all have a bit of a ballerina feel which is dreamy.
If you’re into a long sleeved wedding gown, these beauties are anything but boring. The sheer sleeves on this Alexandra Grecco wedding dress are so lovely.
And if sleek and modern is more your style this long sleeve Dreams by Lihi Hod dress is just right. I love the buttons on the sleeves and the double leg slits.
I love that two-piece wedding dresses are more common now. And this patterned wedding dress by Lakum is equal parts cool and sexy.
If pattern isn’t your thing, what about stripes? The off the shoulder neckline and leg slit really make this Hailey Paige wedding dress a stunner.
Ok, so this next one isn’t a wedding dress with a leg slit. But, let’s not forget short dresses! They’re also a fun a way to show off some legs. And this long sleeve wedding dress with cutouts by Laure de Sagazan is a great one.
Wedding Dresses with Accessories
Ok, so beautiful wedding dresses are beautiful. But, when you have the right accessories it can be magic. One of my picks for best wedding dresses from Bridal Fashion Week were all the accessories. From capes to veils, these really took their wedding dresses up a notch.
To start us off, take a look at these three wedding dresses and accessories from Zuhair Murad. The fur cape and shrug just adds that extra oomph and regalness to some already beautiful dresses.
And this veil gives creates such beautiful lines.
Brides underestimate veils and what they can do. As you can see in the previous image, it definitely adds to the style and look. And this next wedding dress and veil by Elie Saab is another take on it. With the floral lace detailing framing her face, simple jewelry is all she needs.
If a simple dress is more your style consider not only your footwear, but a cover up. This sheer cover up by Alexandra Grecco makes a simple spaghetti strap wedding dress much more interesting. And of course you can take it off as you like. And can we talk about the boots? They take the style in a fun new direction too.
Last but not least, let’s talk about this hat. It’s not a veil, but man it’s cute. And the contrast between the black hat and the modern white wedding dress by Dreams by Lihi Hod, is striking.
There are so many options and fun things you can do with your wedding dress. Use my picks for the best wedding dresses from Bridal Fashion Week as inspiration for your wedding attire. Take the pieces you loved most and use it in your way to create a look that is all you.
