Mango Muse Events Celebrates 9 Years!
Are you a celebrator? I like to celebrate things. Maybe it’s the wedding planner in me, but I really enjoy celebrating life’s moments. And I’m not just talking about the big ones like weddings, but when you achieve something or create something. When you’ve grown, changed or taken a risk. Not everything always works out, but the action, the intention and the courage is to be celebrated.
This month Mango Muse Events is celebrating 9 years! It’s not a milestone birthday (that will be next year), but it’s a big thing. When I think about where I started and how much I’ve grown and how much the business has grown, it’s tremendous. But even the difference between last year and this year is big. So much has happened and changed over 365 days.
They say the older you get the wiser you get. And while that might be said to make people feel good about getting older, I think it’s true. The more experience you have in life, in business, the wiser you are. Because you just know more. You understand more about yourself, about others, and you know what’s important.
There is so much I could share about the last year. Working with amazing artists across the world. Celebrating awesome people in love. Creating new and exciting designs. Helping couples plan their wedding in a new way with Passport to Joy.
But, I think the important thing I’ve learned especially in the social media world we live in today, is to just to be me. There is so much comparison, jealousy and FOMO out there. It’s so easy to look at someone else’s perfect instagram feed and compare your life to theirs. Or wish you were more like them. It’s not just you, I’ve done it too.
But, if you really think about it, who cares?
It doesn’t matter what their life is like, or whether it’s real or not. It only matters what your life is like and whether you’re happy.
So, are you happy?
If so, then live your life and celebrate it! And if you aren’t happy, make a change. But, do it for you because it’s important to you. Not because of anyone else.
It’s a small thing, but has such a big impact. And it applies to everything! To weddings, to business, to relationships and to life.
Just be you. Do you.
You’ll be so much happier. I certainly am.
This year Mango Muse Events celebrates 9 years. This business, this passion of mine still makes me so happy. I’m proud of where I’ve come from and where I am today. And I’m excited for the next 365 days.
Thank you for being a part of the Mango Muse Events family. For spending time with me and for being a part of my life. And for letting me be a part of yours. Here’s to celebrating more of life’s moments.
