The Best and Easiest Way to Work With Your Wedding Budget

Wedding Planning Tips by Destination Wedding Planner, Mango Muse Events

You know how you go into a store and a sales associate comes up to you and asks if you need some help?

For most of us, we just say, I’m good and they walk away.  This works fine if we’re just browsing with no agenda.  But, when you have a goal like finding a pair of jeans or that dress for your big event, asking for help comes in handy.  Why?

Because they can take what you want and help you to find it.  You don’t have to look through all the racks, they’ll just show you what you want.  This saves you time and money as well.

This same concept works with your wedding and your wedding budget.  Everyone has a budget and you have to find a way to work with your budget.  This can be the hardest and most stressful part of planning your wedding.

Ready for a game-changing wedding planning tip?

Share your wedding budget with your vendors.

The best and easiest way to work with your wedding budget is to share it with your vendors.  Why?  Because they can help to cut through all the noise and make the best suggestions for you.

Now, I know many couples don’t like sharing their wedding budget.  I think it’s a fear that wedding vendors will try to gouge you for all your worth.  This is not the case, I promise you.  Sharing your budget helps everyone because you’ll be seeing the options that make sense for you.  It makes the process faster, more streamlined and you get to see exactly what works for you.

Your wedding vendors want to help you, so let them!  While sharing your wedding budget can feel intimidating, it really only benefits you in the end.  And the big bonus is that not only will you be shown the items that make sense for your budget, but your vendors will also be able to make suggestions to help.  Your wedding vendors are the best sources of information to help you come up with ways to save. They’ve got all kinds of tricks and tips they can use to help you work with your budget.

So, the moral of the story is, the more you share, the better.  And this includes your budget.
