If you’ve noticed, we’re doing something a little different this month. Instead of having our monthly wedding planning challenge, instead, we’re going to be sharing some very special wedding tips. Why do you ask? Well, we’ve got something special happening this month that we’re really excited about and so we’re changing things up a bit. You’ll have to wait to see what that is. Oh, the suspense!
But, don’t worry! To tide you over, today we’ve got a great wedding planning tip from our friends at Cinematt.
Wedding Planning Tip from the Pros
Finding your wedding vendors is like match.com. Someone can look cute, but if you don’t have anything to say to them, then it doesn’t matter. The connection is important.
This is a great analogy and a great way of thinking about your wedding vendors. Photos (or videos) are important because they many times represent what a vendor can do. They are a portfolio, but they are not the end all be all. Pretty is great. But it doesn’t matter how pretty a vendor makes something look if you don’t connect with them. If they don’t get you and you aren’t comfortable, all the pretty in the world doesn’t matter. Choose the wedding vendor who you connect with and is a fit for you. Everything will work and turn out so much better if you do.
