2015 Year in Review

I hope you had a very merry Christmas!  The year is almost over, can you believe it?  Time sure flies and before you know it, it will be 2016!  There are just a few more days left in the year and I’d like to take this time to reflect on the past year and all we’ve accomplished and look forward to the coming year.

2015 Year in Review and Looking Forward to 2016

This year we travelled to many different locations for our couple’s destination weddings including the Caribbean, the Big Island, Calistoga, Vancouver and France.  As always, we love exploring and discovering new ways to bring our couple’s style and personality to a location and creating a destination wedding unique to them.  We’ve been blessed to work with some amazing couples from all across the world and look forward to working with some great couples in some exciting destinations in 2016.

We were featured in multiple magazines and blogs this year like Glamour, Destination Weddings and Honeymoons, Loverly, Inspired by This, Mod Wedding and Bridal Guide.  And we were named as an A-List destination wedding planner by Destination Weddings and Honeymoons!  We look forward to sharing more of our knowledge, expertise, and our awesome couples and their weddings with the world.

We launched our Kickstart and Jumpstart planning sessions this year to rave reviews.  Unlike anything else out there, the planning session is a bite-sized, but value packed 1:1 session that creates the vision and plan for your wedding.  Definitely new and different from our normal full-time wedding planning services, the clients that we’ve had the pleasure of working with have gotten so much out of it and we couldn’t be happier.  We’re really looking forward to helping more couples with their weddings and getting them out of feeling stressed and overwhelmed and into feelings of excitement and joy.

We also attended a few conferences this year to meet with like-minded wedding professionals and entrepreneurs to increase our network and improve our skills.  I think it’s always important to continue one’s education and improve.  We learned a great deal this year and continue to refine our skills so that we can better serve our clients.

And when it comes to the blog, we’ve had so much fun and shared lots of interesting venues, awesome destinations, wedding planning tips, wedding design ideas, our 12 Days of Joy and more.  We’re really excited for the evolution of the blog (we have a redesign in the works for early 2016) and continuing to serve our readers with interesting, fun and helpful information.  If there is anything you want to see more of on the blog, please let us know in a comment below.

2015 has been an exciting and interesting year for us with lots of change (for the good) and we thank you for being a part of our lives.  We treasure each and every one of you and hope to continue to bring more joy to your lives.  Wishing you an amazing rest of 2015 and an even better 2016!  See you in the new year!
