Like favors, guest books can be a waste of money as not all your guests will sign it.  If you do want a guest book type item, choose a form that you’ll cherish and actually look at from time to time. It’s not worth it to pick something that will just gather dust on your shelf.  Choose something meaningful to you, so that the time (and money) you and your guests put into it is worth it every time you look at it.
