Not everything has to be bought for your wedding and not everything has to be DIY either. But, I do think it’s nice when there is some love put into a wedding through something that was made with your two hands. Not only does it usually save you some money, but it makes it special too.
One wedding tradition the Japanese have is to fold a thousand paper cranes for good luck. While most couples then pay someone to create something with the cranes, this couple decided to string them and hang them from a family bonsai tree. The result? A beautiful and organic display that not only showcased their style, but was unique and very cool.
