Wedding Tip: How to Prevent a Melted Wedding Cake

Wedding Tip from the Pros: Don’t let the wedding cake melt!

Cakes really can melt in the heat and humidity, especially if it will be outside.  If you are having an outdoor wedding, have your cake delivered later in the day.  If you have the cake delivered too early, by the time the cake cutting comes along the cake will be sweating or even start falling apart and it won’t look so good.  If you can, have your wedding cake delivered after the sun goes down and if not, see if there is a refrigerator on site that can keep the cake cool until it’s time for the cutting.
