2015 Golden Globes Wedding Inspiration

It’s awards season and as you know we are fans of checking out the fashion and beauty from the red carpet.  It’s not only fun but can be such great inspiration for your upcoming wedding or event.  So, we’ve picked out the best of the best to share with you today and without further ado, here are out 2015 Golden Globes wedding inspiration picks.

Silver was a big trend on the red carpet and while there were many dresses, this one was quite possibly my favorite.  Dakota Johnson totally rocks this Chanel dress with it’s two different textures, slit and waterfall effect.  It fits her beautifully and her hair and makeup totally hit the mark.  This look would look great for your wedding day hair and makeup and even the gown itself is fun inspiration for your bridesmaid dresses or wedding decor.

Julianne Moore looks stunning in this silver black ombre Givenchy Couture gown.  And while it’s not my favorite, it is a close second in the silver category.  The feathery texture and the color change works so well and can’t you just see all the wedding table design ideas here?  I certainly can.

Yellow was another big trend on the red carpet and Naomi Watts in this sweet Gucci dress is glowing.  Her styling is also great with the slightly wavy hair, the belt, and the awesome Bulgari snake necklace.  The silhouette is simple, but with a color this popping, you don’t want it to be fussy.  Don’t forget about yellow for your wedding either, it’s not used that often but is so bright and cheery.  And what is your wedding day if not happy?

Another yellow winner was Jenna Dewan Tatum in this Carolina Herrera number.  While she was there to support her husband, she was a scene stealer in this butter yellow flowy dress.  I think this would be a great option for your bridesmaids.  It’s cute, it’s easy and it’s fun and could work on many body types.

Sienna Miller was in a category all her own in this plunging boho Miu Miu gown.  The beading, texture and overall style was both beautiful and also funky.  Not all wedding attire has to be prim and white, so have fun with it!  Wear something that reflects your style like Sienna.

While pant suits are nothing new, Lorde rocks this Narciso Rodriguez with a cute crop top and some gorgeous bling.  Remember that you don’t have to wear a dress to your wedding if you don’t want to.  Go for another style like Lorde and you’ll look awesome too.

And last but not least, Emma Stone is simply amazing in this Lanvin jumpsuit.  We’ve saved our favorite look to the end as it’s super fun and totally chic with the large sash and patterned silver top.  If you want to be different, wear something like this and you’ll stand out for days just as Emma did.
