If you haven’t heard (or just came out from under a rock), George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin just got married recently in Venice. Like many other celebrities, they had a destination wedding and I don’t blame them. Destination weddings are growing in popularity, not just with celebrities, but all us non-celebrities as well. And the reason is because you get to spend a whole weekend or more with those you love. It’s not just about the wedding, but the experience you share together that you can really only get with a destination wedding.
Now, I’m not sure if you’ve seen the photos, but they look sooo happy. Totally ridiculously beautiful of course, but also so happy. And you can have a destination wedding like a celebrity too! This week we’re sharing the hotel George and Amal got married at along with some other celebrity destination wedding venues. Could one of these be your dream venue?
First up, the happy newlyweds and their romantic wedding venue, the Aman Grand Canal in Venice.

If you’re looking for history and royalty, check out the Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland where David and Victoria Beckham got married.

Or if you want some southern charm, check out the Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina where Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married.
