In this week’s find of the week, we’re showing some Hawaii love with Hawai lei. Yup, you guessed it, we’re in Hawaii enjoying some much-needed sun and putting together some awesome destination weddings. Now, Hawaii isn’t a new and undiscovered place but from time to time we have to remember what it’s like to slow down a bit. This week we were reminded of how important that is and what better place to unwind than Hawaii? The people are laid back, the pace is slower and island life is about taking your time and smelling the flowers.
May 1st is Lei day in Hawaii and while it is about giving and receiving lei, it is really about Hawaiian culture and the celebration of the aloha spirit. And to me, the aloha spirit is really about love and loving those around you. So, here’s a Hawaii lei for you! Go share some love with your fellow neighbor, stranger or friend and brighten someone’s day. A little aloha spirit goes a long way.
