Inspiration From Lupita Nyong’o

We shared some Oscar inspiration earlier this week but were inspired not just by the fashion, but by the people as well and Lupita Nyong’o specifically.  While this would usually fall into a Monday post, we really loved this and her and wanted to share Lupita, the person as our find of the week.  While I obviously don’t know her personally, what she says and how she acts gives me a good idea.  So much of the time we are concerned with how we look not just physically, but our persona as well.  It’s always important to remember that who we are on the inside is what matters, that beauty lies within.  For a girl who has been thrust into the spotlight, I think she’s handled it with grace and while staying to true to herself.  One thing she said at the awards show that stuck with me is that, “No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.”  So, strive to be beautiful on the inside and dream away.
