2014 Oscars Wedding Inspiration

It’s the biggie of the awards season, the Oscars!  And with it, a few of our favorite fashion picks to help inspire you for your upcoming wedding or event. There is so much to love, but we picked just a few standouts, so let’s not wait, here are our 2014 Oscars wedding inspiration picks from the red carpet.

First up is Angelina Jolie in a glittering Elie Saab.  This dress reminds me of sparkling rain.  The beautiful colors and design you can easily steal for your wedding.

Next up is one of the winners of the night, Lupita Nyong’o in Prada!  The sky blue color of this Grecian style dress is heavenly.  Not only is the color great for your wedding, but the softness as well.  This flowy style of dress would be great for a destination wedding.

I’m such a big fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt.  He always looks good in my opinion and once again is looking dashing in Calvin Klein.  Men, take note – this is how you do a tuxedo.  It’s stylish, modern and doesn’t look penguinish at all.

And another big winner of the night, Cate Blanchett in Giorgio Armani.  It’s hard to see the detailing on this dress, but the sheer nude and silver with hanging droplets were gorgeous.  I can see this easily see a bride in this as her wedding dress or as inspiration for a table setting.

And our last pick of the red carpet is Emma Watson in this sparkling Vera Wang.  This one just might be our favorite of the night.  The photo doesn’t do it justice, but the cut and fit was great and while super elegant was also fun too.  This is a wonderful dress for your bridesmaids if you like a darker look.  It’s also wonderful inspiration for your wedding colors.  And don’t forget her hair and makeup! You could totally rock this look for the bride, bridesmaids or mothers even.
