Over the last couple of weeks, our finds have taken us to San Francisco and Carmel. Our weekly find was never intentionally meant to make you travel, but traveling is kind of a thing for us, so I guess it isn’t no surprise that the first few have showcased our traveling spirit. This week we continue our traveling and our find takes us to Sonoma.
Sonoma doesn’t get as much love as Napa, but I’m a fan. I’m also a particular fan of Cornerstone Sonoma, a gathering place of fun outdoor art sculpture, interesting shopping, yummy eats and wine. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it. The art is great, but so is the little marketplace they have. I love exploring the store Artefact which is truly a place of found treasures. But, did I mention the best part? You can have a wedding here! The Cornerstone Sonoma wedding venue consists of 3 great spaces – a lawn looking out over some vineyards and water, a fun barn, and a beautiful white tent.
This might be my favorite art piece. Love these clouds.
Not only are the installations cool, but I love that you can walk up and be a part of them as well.
Me in a tube!
A wishing tree is one of the art installations. When I was there this past week, I was hanging my wish and found one written by a little kid that wished he could fly. Me too little guy, me too.
Artefact, an awesome store full of treasures.
The wedding tent, one of the 3 spaces on the property for weddings. Fun, isn’t it?
I think Cornerstone Sonoma is a great place for a wedding, but if it isn’t quite your style, it would still be a great location for a destination wedding activity or just to put on your things to do recommendation list for your guests. Check it out the next time you are in Sonoma and of course if you need a wedding planner, you know who to call!
