Scrabble Decor Ideas

For our maiden voyage and first fresh pick, I wanted to start off with a simple and budget friendly idea that that can really add some personality to an event.  Do you love Scrabble?  Here are some fun Scrabble decor ideas.  By using Scrabble letters and holders, you can create sayings such as the one below and use it in your decor as part of a centerpiece or on a gift or cake table.

Another good Scrabble decor idea is you could use them to spell out guest’s names for your place cards or seating cards.  The great thing about this idea is that it can also double as a personalized favor that they can take with them and use to decorate their home.  It’s fun and will be a reminder of your event.

What I like about using Scrabble pieces are that they are such an easy DIY project.  You can find old Scrabble games from craigslist or flea markets or you can purchase one from sites like Etsy (I love the creative geniuses on that site, but we’ll save that for another time).  I love this idea for a person or a couple who are Scrabble lovers or enjoy playing games or are writers or maybe are known for their spelling ability.  Or perhaps Scrabble just has personal meaning to you, for example, I know of one couple who used it because that was how the groom had proposed to the bride.  It’s such a simple and personal idea that people will remember and cherish long after your special event.
