Plan Your Next Trip To These International Travel Destinations

Hey fellow travelers!  If you’re anything like me, you’re chomping at the bit to get out and explore the world.  And now could not be a better time.  With Brexit, low oil prices and the US dollar being super strong, it’s a great time to do some international travel.  If you’re planning a destination wedding within the next year, I would seriously consider an international wedding.  There are lots of deals you can take advantage of.  So, with that in mind, today I want to share some international travel destinations that you should make your next vacation or destination wedding.

UK

We have to talk about the UK, right?  With the huge Brexit vote, flight deals are amazing right now.  It sounds like the deals will continue as well since things are so uncertain.  In addition, the exchange rate has never been this low.  Now, is the time to capitalise on that.

Greece

Other European countries in the EU are also getting affected by Brexit, but in particular, are ones that UK residents frequently travel to.  Greece is one of those vacation spots.  If you’re itching for some sun and sea, Greece is a great place to head to.

Iceland

Iceland has been all over the travel news ever since their 2 airlines (Iceland Air and WOW) have come out with deals from the US.  It’s easy and cheap to fly there and you can even make it a stopover on your way to Europe.  Perhaps you’ll do Iceland and the UK?  Sounds like a winner to me.

Peru

Flights to South America are also seeing some great deals, but we’re interested in Peru.  Inca ruins, amazing food and tons of culture to boot.  If you’re not pregnant or planning on getting pregnant Peru is the place.  By the way, if you have Olympic fever and want to head to Brazil, they are also seeing some deals too.

Australia

Australia like the UK has always had a stronger currency than the US, so travelling there is always expensive.  While it’s still strong, the US dollar has gained and that gap is much smaller than usual.  If the great barrier reef or the outback or Sydney is calling your name, now is good time to go.

Canada

Our neighbors up north have also typically been more expensive, but not so anymore.  The US dollar is way stronger and conversion rates are great.  Canada has some great cities and some amazing natural scenery from lakes to forests.  Now might just be the time for you to take in the crisp Canada air.

Mexico

While the US always has a favorable exchange rate in Mexico, it’s even better now.  If going north isn’t your fancy, why not head south instead?  It’s a big country with lots to see from beaches to Mayan ruins.  Margarita anyone?
