It’s been a tough week this week with the Boston marathon tragedy. My heart goes out to Boston and all the families that are dealing with the aftermath.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like everywhere we turn there seems to be another unnecessary tragedy where innocent lives are lost. It’s immensely sad and scary. When horrible incidents like this happen, I feel like life becomes both sharply in focus and a bit of a blur. The things that matter (the people you love) are clear as day and your emotions are piercingly experienced, but the rest of your life seems to fall blurrily to the side. This week’s Pinterest pin of the week is an artistic form of this. I’ve been into bokeh recently which is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the out of focus part of photography. This image seemed to fit the feelings of focus and blur.
