Paris amour – Venue Scouting for a Paris Destination Wedding part deux

Before we get into part deux of our venue scouting for our Paris destination wedding, I have to mention again how much I love Paris.  LOVE it.  And because we’re in Paris, we had to enjoy some of the sites and beauty. Check out some non-wedding Paris eye candy from our trip.  Notre Dame and the Seine.  I could hang out here all day.

And of course, the food.  We ate so many delicious meals and of course dessert.  This one was not only pretty but a total taste bud winner.  One word, YUM.

Ok, so back to our venue scouting for our Paris destination wedding.  Are you interested in finding out which location we chose? Wait no longer!  We ended up choosing locations that were already naturally beautiful so that we could let Paris shine through.  We wanted to create an experience for our guests, so we chose places that gave you a Parisian experience that you just can’t get anywhere else.

For our ceremony location we chose the Rodin Museum, home of the thinking man.  It has so much to offer – sculpture gardens, a beautiful mansion and the fountain.  The fountain was frozen when we took this picture, but still so lovely.

C and I are all about food.  It is really important to us to make sure we have a fantastic wedding meal, so we wanted to hold our wedding reception at a restaurant.  Paris was already a good start to meet our goals, but we totally exceeded them with Lasserre.  This restaurant is traditionally French, totally gorgeous with fabulous service, a special interior and is just plain DELICIOUS.

Sigh… I’m dreaming about the food already. We did a tasting and it was awesome!  I’m so excited and I can’t wait to share both of our venues with our family and friends for our Paris destination wedding.
